TalkCampus
TalkCampus (2002-present)
TalkCampus was born from a desire to foster meaningful conversations among students about the challenges they face in university and college residences. To achieve this, John collaborated with two friends from the advertising and design industry to create an innovative program that would encourage students to open up and discuss these important issues.
TalkCampus dedicated itself to developing thought-provoking and relevant communication resources, providing printed materials that sparked dialogue among students and created opportunities for educators to address pertinent student life issues. The organization strove to create visually engaging and relatable materials that resonated with Canadian students. By working closely with Student Life professionals, TalkCampus gained valuable insights into the issues affecting students, allowing them to develop a new medium for Canadian universities and colleges to address these concerns, specifically targeting students aged 18-24.
This small business provided posters, buttons, and curriculum to Student Affairs and Services professionals, equipping them with the tools to engage students in meaningful conversations. Initially focused on providing resources, TalkCampus expanded its services to include consulting and training for Canadian post-secondary institutions.
