Created to celebrate St. Lawrence College's 50th anniversary and recognize the incredible contributions of its business students, The Next Best program has become a beloved tradition.

How it Works

Students, staff, and faculty within the School of Business nominate current students who:

• Make a significant contribution to the community

• Maintain good academic standing

• Show potential to make an impact after graduation

Nominees are selected for their demonstration of leadership, inclusion, and innovation.

A Continuing Legacy

Since 2017, The Next Best has been a highlight of the academic year, with over 250 students recognized for their outstanding contributions to business education. The program also expanded to the creation of a podcast and lecture series.
